McCarter & English will be honored with the 2025 Pro Bono Partnership Award from the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC) at the organization’s 16th Annual Saluting Service event on November 6. The ceremony celebrates those who have gone above and beyond to improve the lives of Connecticut’s veterans and address issues important to both the veteran and legal communities.
The McCarter team, led by Joe Cherico and Charlie Ray, has an enduring partnership with the CVLC and represents veterans facing various legal issues, ranging from applying for benefits to resolving housing challenges. In addition to his leadership in this work, Joe Cherico also serves on the CVLC Board of Directors.
This recognition underscores McCarter & English’s long-standing commitment to pro bono service and supporting those who have served our country.
