Patent Law Course

Maria Laccotripe Zacharakis taught a Patent Law course as part of the Translational Biomedical Engineering program at Harvard Medical School. This Advanced Integrated Science course at Harvard Medical School, targets 3^rd and 4^th year HMS Medical students and aims to provide the students with an understanding of the entire process from academic discovery to commercial and patient impact with a focus on medical devices, therapeutics, and biomedical engineering. She provided students with a nuanced perspective on the various ways that technologies can be taken from lab to clinical impact.
