October’s guest speaker was Robert A. Iger, Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, one of the world’s leading producers and providers of entertainment and information. Mr. Iger, interviewed by Robert Kraft, Chairman of the New England Patriots and longtime friend, discussed the most important leadership qualities one should have when running a company with more than $50 billion in annual revenue. Mr. Iger also said they are trying to “figure out what technology’s role is in distributing the great content that we have… and it’s almost not enough to have all that stuff unless you have access to your consumer.” The Walt Disney Company, founded in 1923, has over 185,000 employees and has operations in more than 40 countries.
