Ron Leibman spoke to Law360 about Congress’ passage of legislation that blocked a potential strike of rail workers that could have adversely affected the nation’s supply chain during a time of high demand. “The leaders of both management and the unions were being put in a totally tenuous position. I will say that the president had no choice. Congress had no choice,” said Leibman. “The reality is [the] supply chain in this country — whether or not we had gone through COVID — is not in the position to be able to fill the amount of freight slots that would be necessary to move what this country needs.”
