McCarter announced today that its Indianapolis attorneys and staff have officially expanded into new office space, further demonstrating the firm’s commitment to clients and its dedication to providing a full-service offering in the Midwest. Katherine Althoff and Amy Fisher, co-managing partners of the office, are enthusiastic about the growth of the Indianapolis team that serves McCarter’s national client base, most recently welcoming James Barkley and Robert Demchak to its real estate practice.
Amy Fisher said, “The platform we have established in the region for our clients, and the long-term investment the firm has made is remarkable. This is a very exciting time for us and we look forward to adding talent to our office in Indianapolis/Carmel.”
McCarter continues to expand in key practice areas and is focused on ensuring clients benefit from the firm’s longstanding tradition of excellence. Since opening in May 2022 with a group focused on complex product liability litigation, cybersecurity, and healthcare compliance, the office has grown to 18 lawyers and legal professionals and now includes the ability to assist with corporate governance, capital markets, real estate, and regulatory compliance matters. “We couldn’t be happier about the upward trajectory of the team’s ability to serve our clients,” explains Katherine Althoff. “Building out our capabilities in the Midwest has been truly rewarding.” The office is now located in a new building at 10 E. Main Street, Suite 200, Carmel, Ind. in the heart of the Arts and Design District. Referred to as 1st on Main, the development is considered one of the premier properties in Indiana. The office is approximately 9,100 square feet of innovation and vibrancy centered around the importance of work-life balance.
