McCarter & English, LLP is pleased to announce that effective immediately Thomas “Tom” Finn has been elected as the newest member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Cynthia Keliher has been reelected to the committee.

A partner in the firm’s Boston, Mass. office, Cynthia is co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate practice. She represents public and private real estate developers, owners and landlords, and tenants. Her work also includes advising corporations on their global leasing portfolios. Additionally, Cynthia is co-chair of McCarter’s Women’s Initiative Steering Committee, which presides over the policies that have led to McCarter receiving Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum for seven of the last eight years.
Cynthia is the immediate past president of the New England Chapter of CoreNet Global, an association of more than 10,000 corporate real estate professionals, and a past president of Boston CREW, a nonprofit organization with more than 400 members that promotes advancement of women within the commercial real estate industry.
Tom is a partner in McCarter’s Hartford, CT office and serves as chair of the firm’s Litigation practice. He has more than 25 years of complex commercial litigation experience and white-collar criminal defense matters. Tom has represented corporations and individual corporate officers in all types of litigations and arbitrations. He also has handled matters at the investigative and grand jury stages, as well as the post-indictment stages. He also conducts internal corporate investigations and advises clients in connection with internal audits and investigations, as well as third-party and governmental audits.
Tom is the co-author of Connecticut Business Litigation, the newest book in the Connecticut Law Tribune’s book series published by American Lawyer Media (ALM).
