Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey (ACDLNJ)—Amicus counsel, conviction reversal

Represented amicus curiae Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey in a criminal appeal before the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Our team submitted a brief and argued before the Court, helping to obtain reversal of an individual’s unjust conviction and enhanced sentencing for promoting organized street crime, due to a flawed jury instruction that defined promotion of organized street crime more broadly than the statute allows.
