Adam Burtt focuses his practice on employee benefits and ERISA matters. He provides comprehensive guidance to employers on compensation and benefit arrangements, including tax-qualified plans, equity-based compensation, deferred compensation, incentive pay, and noncash benefits.
Adam’s employee benefits experience includes formerly serving on the in-house counsel for a growing firm in the professional employer organization field, PrestigePEO. In addition, prior to entering private practice, Adam was a Presidential Management Fellow at the United States Department of Labor, where he worked at the Employee Benefits Security Administration and the Office of the Solicitor on topics ranging from multiple-employer welfare arrangements (MEWA), pooled employer plans (PEP), employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), and other ERISA compliance and enforcement topics. He received a BA in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
