Candee Wilde helps clients navigate complex environmental litigation, regulatory challenges, and transactional risk. Her work includes handling high-stakes natural resource damage matters brought by state governments, particularly emerging NRD litigation involving PFAS, including at trial. Candee also handles complex matters under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), including statutory contribution, cost recovery, and private cost allocation actions. She has deep experience with multiparty Superfund sites involving alleged sediment, soil, and groundwater contamination, including sites involving contaminants such as dioxins, PCBs, and PFAS.
Candee also counsels clients on environmental risk management in transactions involving the acquisition, development, financing, and sale of environmentally impacted real estate and corporate assets. She negotiates complex transactional and regulatory agreements, advises on brownfield redevelopment and remediation issues, and structures specialty environmental insurance solutions. Candee also advises clients on compliance with state environmental laws, including New Jersey’s Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA).
Active in various professional and civic organizations, Candee serves as the Executive Director of the Delaware Valley Environmental American Inn of Court, which promotes professionalism, ethics, civility, and excellence within environmental law.
