Carlee Sutera focuses her practice on estate planning and estate and trust administration where she develops and executes complex estate plans for ultra-high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while maximizing tax efficiency. She handles pour-over wills, asset protection trusts, entity formation and management, insurance policies, and retitling of real estate, and also prepares applicable federal and state tax returns (i.e., Form 709, Form 706 and NJ Form IT-R).
After earning her BA in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University, Carlee received her JD from Rutgers Law School. During law school, Carlee served as an Articles Editor for the Rutgers International Law and Human Rights Journal, a Student Associate for the Education and Health Law Clinic, and received the Sera Ramcharitar Memorial Award for excellence in work on behalf of the underprivileged, particularly women, children, and families.
