Employing her background in chemistry, Catherine assists clients in developing IP strategies and patent protections for a broad range of technologies, including polymer chemistry, coatings, silicones, materials, phosphors, membrane technology, water treatment, recycling, battery technology, gasification systems, crude oil and refinery processing, desalination, biotech (protein purification, enzymes, nucleic acid capture, binding, cellular therapy, controlling microbial and bacterial pathogens and biocidal delivery) and lighting devices. She also has extensive experience filing and prosecuting applications on a global scale, including in Europe, Asia, Canada, Mexico, Indonesia, South America and Australia.
