Claire Grega represents clients in complex environmental litigation and regulatory enforcement actions, including cost recovery claims, corporate successor liability, diminutions in property value, underground storage tanks, natural resource damages, and soil and groundwater contamination. Her experience includes handling permitting and regulatory matters and litigation claims concerning the Comprehensive Environmental Resource Recovery and Liability Act (CERCLA), the New Jersey Spill Act, matters associated with PFAS contaminants, and other federal and state environmental matters.
Prior to practicing law, Claire worked in all three branches of the federal government–as an analyst in the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence in President Obama’s administration; as a systems administrator and legislative correspondent for US Senator Sherrod Brown; and, during law school, as an intern for The Honorable Judge Donald C. Nugent in the Northern District of Ohio.
