Connor Rosow focuses his practice on U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution. A mechanical engineer, Connor prepares patent applications for entry as US national stage Section 371 filings and prepares US applications, based on foreign priority applications, for filing in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He develops and drafts responses to US Office Actions and strategies for responding to foreign office actions.
In addition, Connor constructs strategies for novelty searches concerning the fields of robotics, controls, automation, machine learning, fluid mechanics, and dynamics for transportation, aerospace, defense, banking, and entertainment industry clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Connor was a patent clerk at an intellectual property law firm where he led a team which provided novelty assessments. His work included performing infringement analysis, competitive landscape analysis, and IP market analysis. He also developed a model for valuing IP assets based on market forces and led a project focused on software solutions for international filing forecasts.
Connor earned his BS in mechanical engineering from Tufts University, where he concentrated on robotics and fluid mechanics. He also earned a minor in Entrepreneurship.
