Dumonde Slam Dunkley concentrates his practice on defending clients, including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, in product liability matters.
Prior to joining McCarter, Slam earned LLMs from both the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where he received two specializations in Human Rights and Native Nations Law, and from the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, specializing in International and European Business Law. He received a JD from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where he concentrated his course work in Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy, was president of two student organizations, and published an award winning paper on Tribal Water Rights. During his time there, Slam worked with the firm as a summer law clerk in the Products Liability & Mass Torts practice group and as a winter intern with the Yurok Tribe, Office of the Tribal Attorney.
Before law school, Slam was a Division I rower at Saint Joseph’s University and remains active in his free time, enjoying surfing and running.
