Esther Hwang represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of commercial, civil, and intellectual property matters, participating in all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts in New Jersey.
Prior to joining McCarter & English, Esther served as a judicial intern for Justice Lee A. Solomon (ret.) of the New Jersey Supreme Court and Magistrate Judge José R. Almonte of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
While in law school, she was a semi-finalist in the 2024 Rutgers Law Moot Court, Nathan Baker Trial Competition, and served as the Managing Articles Editor for the Computer & Technology Law Journal. She was also awarded the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association (NJIPLA) Immac “Casey” Thampoe Memorial Scholarship.
Esther worked as a summer associate at the firm during both summers of law school.
