John Curran has more than 20 years of experience practicing in intellectual property matters. He assists clients with patent prosecution and portfolio development, trademark registration, and intellectual property licensing matters.

John has represented a diverse range of clients ranging from individual inventors to startups to multinational corporations. His practice has focused on computer-related inventions, alternative and renewable energy discoveries and mobile communication technologies. His experience includes work in the areas of automotive fuel cells, computer firmware, hardware and software, mobile and cellular inventions, networking, optical networking, information security and storage, computer-aided design, model simulation, Micro-Electromechanical (MEMS) design, virtual semiconductor device fabrication, and medical devices.

In addition to his work securing United States patents for his clients, John has also secured patents for his clients in numerous countries in Asia, Europe, and South America.
