Mohamed Miled is a registered patent lawyer with an extensive background in electrical and computer engineering. Mohamed provides patent portfolio strategies and management across various technologies including artificial intelligence, 4G and 5G networks, medical devices, medical imaging, robotics, radiotherapy systems, signal and image processing, antenna systems, cybersecurity, telecommunications, wireless communications, video coding, speech processing and recognition, software, processor hardware architecture, electric and autonomous vehicles, and battery systems for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Mohamed has extensive experience in prosecuting patent applications across various jurisdictions and in preparing and reviewing claim charts for prosecution, licensing and litigation. He also has experience in counseling clients on due diligence and freedom to operate.
Prior to joining McCarter, Mohamed was as an associate at a national law firm and a senior technical specialist at an IP boutique.
Mohamed was previously in-house as a member of Nokia’s Legal and Intellectual Property team where he managed patent portfolios related to broadcasting, multicasting, streaming, HTTP streaming and adaptive HTTP streaming, device management, data synchronization, digital rights management, video compression and editing, SIP and UPnP. He joined the company as a research engineer for Nokia Research Center.
