Nakul Shah focuses his practice on representing companies of all sizes in complex product liability and environmental matters. Nakul has extensive experience with large mass tort multicounty and multidistrict litigations, and has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes from inception through trial.
Prior to joining McCarter & English, Nakul was an associate at a large New Jersey law firm, where he represented medical device manufacturers in state and federal court litigation. Prior to that role, he served as Assistant Corporation Counsel to the City of New York, representing the municipality in matters brought in the US District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Nakul received his JD from Rutgers Law School where he was a member of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal and the Civil Justice Clinic. He previously served as the Secretary of the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey and is an active member of the Asian and Pacific American Lawyers Association, the American Conference Institute, and DRI, Lawyers Representing Business.
