Oliver Han is a registered patent lawyer specializing in strategic patent prosecution, patent application drafting, and patent portfolio development in a range of technologies including computer science-based technologies, such as software, mobile applications, networking, and developing technologies in artificial intelligence and machine learning. With a background in industrial engineering, Oliver has experience with mechanical technologies, including mechanical components for large tools and equipment companies, manufacturers in the automobile and aerospace industries and with surgical implants for medical device companies.
Oliver assists with Patent Trial and Appeal Board procedures, including interferences, reexamination proceedings, inter partes reviews (IPR), post-grant reviews, ex parte appeals, and other proceedings before the PTAB.
Oliver earned his JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law while focusing on patent law. Before law school, he received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana. In his spare time, Oliver enjoys staying active by playing volleyball and golf and spending time with his wife, new daughter, and dog.
