Dr. Paige Smith is a registered patent agent with experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications across a range of life science technologies. Her work spans cell-based therapies, gene therapies, antibodies, spatial transcriptomics, diagnostics, and related innovations. Paige has also conducted comprehensive freedom-to-operate searches to evaluate the patent landscape in areas such as CRISPR gene editing technology and other emerging therapeutic platforms.
Paige earned her PhD in biological sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, where she designed and synthesized red blood cell-based drug delivery systems for biotherapeutics. She received her BS in chemistry from New York University.
