Salvatore D’Alia assists clients with complex environmental and energy litigation and transactional matters. Sal represents companies across numerous industries in such areas as cost recovery actions, natural resource damages assessments and litigation, and Superfund site litigation as well as environmental due diligence in important business transactions. His experience also includes commercial and construction litigation. Sal served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Robert C. Wilson, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Civil Part, where he assisted in numerous cases filed to New Jersey’s Complex Business Litigation Program docket. While in law school, Sal authored and published How Extraterritorial Application of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and Opioid Litigation Will Fuel the Addiction to Consumer Fraud Claims in New Jersey, 43 Seton Hall Legis. 109 (2019). He also participated in the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic, where he represented indigent clients who were facing eviction or involved in foreclosure proceedings.

Represent chemical companies The Chemours Company; The Chemours Company FC, LLC; and EIDP, Inc. in responding to national litigation involving a state directive for statewide cleanup of newly emerging contaminants (PFAS), claims for natural resource damages (NRD) and NRD assessments brought in several states (including New Jersey) involving PFAS or other alleged contaminants, claims for damages by various water utilities in several states, and ones involving toxic tort, product liability, medical monitoring, and putative class action claims.
