Susan represents companies and individuals in complex white collar criminal and regulatory enforcement matters. She also conducts internal corporate investigations for companies of all sizes.
Before joining McCarter, Susan spent more than 20 years at the United States Probation Office for the District of New Jersey, including serving as Chief US Probation Officer. In this role, she worked to ensure the expeditious handling of investigative work for the Court, institutions, and parole authorities, including the preparation of presentence investigations and case supervision of probationers, parolees, and supervised releasees. Susan also served as a liaison to the Chief Judge and other judges of the Court, making specific recommendations regarding policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, and court-related criminal justice issues with an emphasis on matters related to sound sentencing practices.
Susan has served as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University, teaching courses on the federal criminal justice system. She was also as a guest lecturer on criminal trial and criminal sentencing at Seton Hall University School of Law.
