McCarter & English has elevated Geoffrey Lynott and Ryan Savercool to partner.
Geoff, a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Litigation practice, litigates complex commercial matters spanning a broad range of issues at both the state and federal level. He regularly appears in bankruptcy court and in various alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediations and arbitrations. Geoff maintains an active pro bono practice, notably representing veterans in matters before the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims as well as the Federal Circuit involving access to benefits and other issues.
Ryan, a member of the firm’s Products Liability, Mass Torts, and Consumer Class Actions practice, defends manufacturers of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and consumer products in high-stakes product liability, mass tort, environmental and consumer fraud matters. He maintains an active appellate practice and is often called upon to draft motions and briefs on issues of first impression and national importance.
