For some attorneys, billion-dollar deals are the stuff of dreams. Lawyers looking to turn those dreams into reality, however, can take important steps to make sure it’s their phone ringing next time companies come calling.
A key to landing a spot on high-profile deals is standing out in the highly saturated legal industry, McCarter & English LLP partner Howard M. Berkower told Law360.
While firms of a certain size tend to be better equipped for larger deals, Berkower said, attorneys without much relevant experience can still make moves to increase their chances of getting a call when the time comes to find counsel.
