Arrives From Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Resident in Philadelphia; Will Represent Clients In Variety of Commercial Litigation
Kristofor T. Henning, a commercial litigator with significant law firm and in-house litigation experience, has joined McCarter & English as a partner in the firm’s Center City office.
Henning most recently was a vice president for litigation with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co., where he managed a team of in-house litigators. At McCarter, he will handle a broad range of commercial disputes, with a focus on disputes in the technology and health care sectors. “Our firm has a nationally renowned consumer class action defense practice, and Kris brings added strength not only to that group but to our Philadelphia office and general commercial litigation practice,” said John J. McAleese III, managing partner of the firm’s Philadelphia office. “His experience and abilities will give our clients top-shelf representation in those cases, throughout the region and nation.”
Added Michael P. Kelly, chairman of the 400-lawyer firm: “Through our work for various Hewlett-Packard entities, we’ve been acutely aware of Kris and his abilities for some time. He’s the kind of A-plus person and A-plus lawyer we want at McCarter.”
Prior to going in-house at HPE, Henning was a litigation partner at Morgan Lewis.
Before entering private practice, Henning served as a law clerk in federal court in Philadelphia. He earned his law degree, summa cum laude, at Villanova University School of Law. He earned his bachelor’s, magna cum laude, at Dickinson College, where he was co-captain of the football team.
