McCarter & English has snagged a veteran of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. and Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP to serve as a partner in Philadelphia.
Kristofor T. Henning is a commercial and class action litigator who focuses on the technology and health care industries. He’s coming from HP, where he served as vice president for litigation. Before that, he spent nearly a decade as a litigator at Morgan Lewis and several years as a litigation associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP.
In his new role, Henning is already representing Aetna Inc. in a sleep center’s proposed class action alleging the insurer underpaid it for out-of-network claims.
“Through our work for various Hewlett-Packard entities, we’ve been acutely aware of Kris and his abilities for some time,” firm chairman Michael P. Kelly said in a statement. “He’s the kind of A-plus person and A-plus lawyer we want at McCarter.”
