Marking the end of a successful fiscal year, McCarter & English, LLP has elected four partners to its equity ranks, effective October 1. The newly named equity partners are Philip Amoa, Dr. Kathleen Ehrhard, Mia Frabotta, and Amy Vanni.

The following four new equity partners include:
Philip D. Amoa, based in the firm’s Philadelphia and Delaware offices, is a multifaceted corporate lawyer representing international and domestic companies in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, financial, and business services. He is instrumental in all stages of a company’s lifecycle, ranging from startup to growth to maturity. Philip focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture capital, private equity, Delaware corporate and alternative entity law, and various commercial matters, including logistics and supply chain.
Kathleen N. Ehrhard, PhD, based in New York, is experienced in the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications, with a focus on the numerous areas of the life sciences, as well as advanced textiles and composites. She counsels clients on the development of their patent portfolios and provides guidance on product cycle management strategies for their technologies.
Mia A. Frabotta, based in the Boston office, is a member of the Tax and Employee Benefits practice, and represents individuals in complex divorce matters involving business valuations, stock options and retirement interests in property division, spousal and child support, division of gifted and inherited property, post-judgment remedies of contempt and modification, child custody and removal, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and paternity matters. Mia also represents clients in complex probate litigation, particularly will contests and disputes involving interpretation or administration of trusts.
Amy Vanni, based in the Philadelphia office, is a product liability litigator who has extensive experience handling pharmaceutical and medical device cases in multi-district litigations (MDLs), consolidated state actions, and individual lawsuits in federal and state courts. Amy also has extensive experience handling mechanical product liability matters. She represents Fortune 500 and other sophisticated life science companies. Amy serves as a member of McCarter’s Ethics, Conflicts and Claims Committee.
