“New Jersey lawyers are all too familiar with the backlog of court cases caused by judicial vacancies. Therefore, it is frustrating when politics stalls the confirmation process for any seat, particularly on the Third Circuit. Judicial candidates should be considered on their merits in a timely manner so that justice—and not politics—is best served,” Mark said.
