Industrial machinery provider—Multi-million dollar two-part settlement

Successfully settled with Insurer to secure 100% of payment owed to plaintiff in underlying personal injury action, as well as Insurer’s reimbursement of all client’s defense fees and costs incurred. Additionally, we assisted client’s defense counsel in settling the underlying action by securing mutual releases between all parties. This concerned an underlying action with significant damages exposure, several defendants with adverse interests, and an Insurer that did not seem intent on covering our client.
