Represented a dog food distributor in a case involving alleged unpaid invoices. The plaintiff, a factoring company, sued our client and co-defendant, a dog food producer, over invoices, even though payment of those same invoices had been resolved through a prior settlement between our client and the co-defendant. The court granted summary judgment in our client’s favor against the plaintiff on res judicata grounds, granted summary judgment in our client’s favor against the co-defendant on our indemnification cross-claim, and later denied the plaintiff’s motion for rehearing.
