Secured Creditor—Non-Dischargeability Adversary Proceeding

Represented a secured creditor as the plaintiff in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy adversary proceeding that sought to have the debt owed by the debtor declared non-dischargeable under 11 U.S.C. § 523 for having been obtained by, among other things, fraud. Litigated the case through discovery and negotiated a settlement in the secured creditor’s favor pursuant to which the debtor agreed to a stipulated judgment of non-dischargeability.
