Alison is an experienced litigator who represents a wide range of clients in complex, high-stakes product liability and mass tort litigation involving pharmaceutical and medical device products, as well as commercial litigation matters. She also represents corporate clients facing litigation and regulatory exposure related to newly emerging contaminants, such as PFAS. Her practice spans multidistrict litigation, consolidated state court proceedings, and individual lawsuits in federal and state courts across the country.
A significant focus of Alison’s practice is the defense of asbestos and cosmetic talc claims. She serves as national counsel for a global cosmetics company in talc-related litigation and is responsible for coordinating defense strategy, managing local counsel, and overseeing case handling across multiple jurisdictions. Her work in this space includes causation and exposure issues, personal jurisdiction and forum challenges, and handling dispositive and pretrial motion practice through trial.
Alison brings a scientific background to her practice, holding an undergraduate degree in biology and having prior experience in biomedical research. This background makes her a valuable resource in cases involving complex scientific and medical issues. Prior to becoming an attorney, Alison worked as a sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry, an experience that gives her a distinct and practical perspective when preparing sales representatives and other industry witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
Alison is a member of the District Ethics Committee for the State of New Jersey, where she participates in the investigation and review of grievances against attorneys practicing within the district. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing clients seeking asylum, and handling a variety of family court matters. Alison the past Chair of the Board Governance Committee for Canine Partners for Life, a non-profit organization based in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
