Amanda Munsie focuses her practice in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on product liability defense in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
Active in both state and federal courts, Amanda defends a wide range of clients, including consumer product manufacturers, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and manufacturers and distributors of construction equipment and heavy machinery in litigation involving personal injury, toxic tort, premise liability, and wrongful death in single-plaintiff and mass tort actions. She also represents pharmaceutical and medical device clients defending product liability claims in multicounty litigation. Amanda represents clients at both the trial and appellate level.
In addition to litigation, Amanda regularly counsels clients regarding regulatory submissions, product liability litigation avoidance, and risk mitigation. She often advises on risk management issues related to marketing and other product-related materials, and as well as providing advice for responding to FDA inquiries.
Amanda graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law where she served as Notes Editor of the Seton Hall Law Legislative Journal. She also completed a year-long judicial internship with the Honorable Esther Salas in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Before joining McCarter, Amanda was an associate at a leading U.S. law firm, and a law clerk for the Hon. Clarkson S. Fisher, P.J.A.D. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
