Dr. Bettina Lengsfeld focuses on US and international patent prosecution and patent portfolio management in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. Bettina’s technological areas of expertise include molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, recombinant protein manufacturing, aptamer biology, epigenetics, nucleic acid products, screening and diagnostic assays and kits, and vaccines. She also has extensive research experience and training in recombination protein purification and characterization, yeast genetics, nuclease characterization, epigenetics, DNA replication, and Xenopus biology.
Prior to attending Suffolk University Law School, Bettina completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University in Molecular and Cellular Biology as an American Cancer Society Fellow. She received her PhD in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin.
