Danny Ramrattan represents lenders, loan servicers, and other financial institutions in disputes involving mortgage lending as well as title companies in complex real property matters. He has extensive experience in commercial and residential mortgage foreclosure litigation and appeals. He is adept at anticipating and curing possible defenses prior to the commencement of a foreclosure action and navigating and defeating highly technical affirmative defenses and counterclaims often asserted by borrowers in foreclosure proceedings.
Danny’s title defense experience includes adverse possession, easements, ownership disputes (including alleged fraudulent deeds and bona fide purchasers), and mortgage disputes. Danny handles cases for many of the nation’s largest title insurance companies and provides them with comprehensive and cost-efficient strategies to resolve their claims.
Danny has authored and co-authored articles in the New York Law Journal and Habitat Magazine, has been featured on the podcast Lawyers Who Care, and has been a presenter for a continuing legal education course.
