Donald Borod has experience representing manufacturing and technology companies, as well as service companies, financial institutions and other businesses, in connection with their domestic business activities in the United States and their international business activities in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
He is experienced in numerous areas including international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, sales and supply agreements, commercial contracts, distributors and sales representatives, technology transfers, joint ventures and other strategic alliances, and establishing foreign operations. He has also represented several foreign companies in connection with their activities in the United States.
Don is a former Chairman of the Section of International Law of The Connecticut Bar Association. He is a former board member of the U.S. Department of Commerce Connecticut District Export Council, the University of Connecticut Center for International Business Education and Research, the Executive Committee of the Board of the World Affairs Council of Connecticut, and he is also a former member of the adjunct faculties of the University of Connecticut School of Business and Rensselaer (Hartford).
