James Scantling represents clients in a variety of financing transactions, including leases of equipment and facilities and other structured financings, both domestic and cross border.
His experience encompasses all aspects of equipment leasing and financing, including transactions involving aircraft, vessels, rolling stock, locomotives, power facilities, telecommunications, medical and computer equipment and other technology equipment and software. His representation includes vendor programs, purchases and sales of portfolios of leased assets, synthetic and leveraged leases and international equipment leasing/financing.
Jim has extensive experience representing banks, serving as trustees and in other corporate trust capacities in a wide variety of transactions, including secured and unsecured debt, project finance and corporate debt, in the U.S. and internationally.
He also advises clients in mergers and acquisitions.
