Michael Toczyski focuses his litigation practice on complex product liability, toxic tort, and commercial disputes. Michael’s experience includes defending national corporations in high‑stakes matters ranging from multi‑district medical device litigation and asbestos exposure claims to wrongful death and serious personal injury actions. He also represents clients in specialized commercial and healthcare‑related cases, including non‑compete enforcement, breach of contract actions, and medical laboratory-related professional liability defense.
Prior to entering private practice, Michael served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he vetted and litigated hundreds of constitutional and legal challenges to criminal convictions before the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and Pennsylvania Superior Court.
While in law school, Michael served as a judicial intern for the Honorable M. Teresa Sarmina of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and as a research and articles editor for the Temple Journal of Science, Technology, & Environmental Law. He was also a member of Temple Law’s National Trial Team and Moot Court Honor Society, winning one competition and placing as a finalist in two others. Upon graduation, Michael was presented with the Integrated Trial Advocacy Award for excellence in civil litigation.
