Patrick Sadler represents government entities, financial institutions, and not-for-profit organizations in a variety of public finance matters.
Patrick Sadler has served as bond counsel to the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank for revenue bond financings of environmental infrastructure facilities totaling over $3.5 billion in aggregate principal amount for hundreds of wastewater and sewerage treatment facility projects and drinking water facility projects throughout the State of New Jersey, including counties, municipalities, county, municipal and regional sewerage and utilities authorities, state authorities, and for-profit water companies.
Patrick has also represented clients as underwriter’s counsel, purchaser’s counsel, borrower’s counsel, guarantor’s counsel, and trustee’s counsel on transactions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island, including private placement transactions, educational facilities financings, general obligation bond offerings, and residential facilities financings. Patrick works closely with state regulators, including the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Division of Local Government Services, on structuring and authorizing financing transactions throughout New Jersey.
Prior to joining McCarter, Patrick worked on M&A deals for a large, international law firm. He has also served as a senior consultant at a global commercial real estate firm. Patrick holds a BBA, cum laude from George Washington University and a JD from Fordham University School of Law, where he was awarded the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award.
