Samuel James concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on product liability, mass tort, and consumer class action defense. Sam has significant experience defending a wide range of clients in state and federal courts, including manufacturers and vendors of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, consumer electronics, industrial machinery, and construction equipment. Sam’s litigation experience includes defending clients in single-plaintiff actions as well as in multidistrict litigations (MDL). Sam also maintains an active pro bono practice, and has been an advocate for veterans, individuals facing housing displacement, and first responders.
Prior to entering private practice, Sam served as a law clerk for the Honorable James J DeLuca, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County.
