Glenn MacKinlay spoke with the Boston Globe about Maine’s yellow flag law, designed to temporarily remove firearms from those in mental health crisis who pose a risk to themselves or others, that could have been used to prevent a recent mass shooting. Glenn, who previously oversaw gun background checks for the US Attorney’s office in Massachusetts said, “If federal authorities had been brought into the investigation early on, they could have assisted in lawfully securing these firearms.”
