Vincent “Vin” Mauro, who has served the Senate Democrats in various roles for nearly three decades, has joined McCarter’s Government Affairs Practice Group in its Hartford, CT office.
Vin spoke with Law360 about joining the firm and said, “I was drawn to its tremendous government affairs team, and the breadth of the firm’s other capabilities in Connecticut and up and down the East Coast. I am excited to work with the people I already know at McCarter, and the other 400 plus individuals who share the same philosophy I do when it comes to getting the job done for clients.”
He will continue to serve as the chair of the New Haven Democratic Town Committee, an elected role he’s held for about a decade. Vin also serves on the Connecticut Airport Authority Board, the New Haven Fire Commissioners Pension Board and the New Haven Fire Prevention Board. “Vin is a thought leader and an experienced resource for individuals seeking counsel and guidance related to state legislation, policy development and industry regulation,” said Moy Ogilvie, Managing Partner of the firm’s Hartford office. “He will be a tremendous asset for our Connecticut offices and firm clients everywhere.”
