Tim Ferges presented “State Taxes and Estate Planning: Who Said Your Estate or Trust Was Non-Taxable?” at the New York University School of Professional Studies – 2022 Summer Institute in Taxation. NYU held the event at the Westin New York at Times Square in New York, NY. Tim reviewed the different estate, inheritance, and income taxes that states throughout the nation impose on estates and trusts. He also reviewed estate planning strategies and techniques that can minimize those state taxes.
