As the firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Christine Lydon oversees the Firm’s administrative functions for its lawyers, paralegals, and professional staff.

She leads the Professional Personnel Department in its efforts to recruit top talent and develops and supervises training initiatives designed to support the professional development of McCarter’s lawyers and staff. The department also recruits, trains, and manages paralegals, paralegal assistants, and file clerks to provide the highest-quality support and service to the Firm’s clients.

Christine is a member of McCarter’s Women’s Initiative Steering Committee, which oversees the development and implementation of policies that have resulted in the Firm’s Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum for eight years. She is also a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, helping to recruit, retain, and advance diverse professionals who reflect McCarter’s vibrant clients and communities and bring unique talents and perspectives to the firm.

Christine has been with McCarter for more than a decade, having previously represented clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York. She has handled cases involving complex fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and professional negligence. She is also experienced in securities fraud class action litigation, internal corporate investigation, and closely held corporate shareholder disputes.
