Gregory Hall focuses his practice on a broad range of complex commercial litigation and business disputes. His experience primarily includes matters related to breach of contract claims, the False Claims Act, unfair trade practices, and government investigations, among others.
Greg is active in both state and federal courts and has experience across all stages of litigation, including arguing motions; preparing witnesses for depositions and trial testimony in high stakes litigation matters; conducting depositions; overseeing the collection and production of electronic discovery; and drafting pleadings, discovery requests, briefs, and motions on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation. He also maintains a robust pro bono practice where he primarily works with the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program and the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center.
Prior to joining McCarter & English, Greg served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello, U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut and as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Connecticut Superior Court. He also previously interned at the United States Department of Justice, the Office of the Connecticut Attorney General, and The White House.
Greg graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law where he served as an Associate Editor on the Connecticut Law Review. He received his BA cum laude from the University of Connecticut.
Greg concurrently serves as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
