Gregory Hall focuses his practice on a broad range of complex commercial litigation and business matters. He is active in both state and federal courts and served on the jury trial team for a complex patent infringement dispute. Greg also maintains a robust pro bono practice where he primarily works with the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program and the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center.
Prior to joining McCarter & English, Greg served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello, U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut and as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Connecticut Superior Court. During law school, Greg received the Thomas J. Meskill Summer Fellowship and interned at the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division. He also interned at the Office of the Connecticut Attorney General, Department of Transportation.
Prior to law school, Greg interned at the White House, Presidential Personnel Office, where he assisted senior and deputy white house counsel members in vetting presidential nominees and appointees. Greg graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law where he served as an Associate Editor on the Connecticut Law Review. He received his BA cum laude from the University of Connecticut.
Greg concurrently serves as a Captain in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. As a reservist, he serves with the Third Legal Operations Detachment, United States Army Reserve Legal Command.
