A former Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey and an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, Lindsey has first chaired dozens of trials, litigated over 100 appeals and post-conviction matters, and resolved countless matters following successful negotiation and/or pretrial motions practice.
As an AUSA, Lindsey led investigations and prosecutions across a broad spectrum of federal criminal law, handling cases involving FDA violations, the unauthorized distribution of narcotics and pharmaceuticals, financial and white collar crimes, civil rights matters, child exploitation, violent crimes, and immigration-related offenses. Through her career as a prosecutor, Lindsey gained first chair trial experience in both state and federal court, and experience negotiating non-trial dispositions in numerous high-stakes matters, often after successful pretrial motions practice.
Prior to her public service career, Lindsey was an associate at a global law firm, where she represented and counseled life sciences companies in multi-district products liability litigation and affiliated state court matters, False Claims Act matters, regulatory matters, and contract disputes. She has significant experience managing discovery in large-scale matters, and oversaw discovery productions on a large False Claims Act matter. Lindsey was also heavily involved in deposing plaintiffs and preparing sales team members and c-suite executives for depositions in products liability and False Claims Act matters, and in the successful resolution of numerous matters following successful discovery, depositions, and/or pretrial motions practice. Both in the private and public sectors, Lindsey has a proven record of success in pretrial and case dispositive motions, including motions to preclude expert testimony in state and federal court.
