His practice focuses on the strategic development, protection and management of patent portfolios for clients, including the management of enforcement of issued patents, challenge of issued patents, due diligence transactions, patentability opinions, and freedom-to-operate opinions.
Bob was an in house intellectual property attorney at a manufacturer of helicopters, and was an integral part of a team that oversaw a wide variety of legal issues including contracts, patent prosecution in multiple countries, and trademarks.
Prior to becoming an intellectual property attorney, Bob was an engineer at a small startup that made RF equipment for the military, and also at a large manufacturer of control system devices used for automation in a wide variety of industries. Bob was also an engineering laboratory technician in nuclear power for the US Navy.
Bob attended Arizona State University where he earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
