As Bellwether Trials Resume, Mass Tort Lawsuits Soar Due to Litigation Funding

McCarter Partner Natalie Mantell spoke with the New Jersey Law Journal about the increase in mass tort cases currently making their way through New Jersey courts. “I think the mass tort world is as busy as ever. There are cases being set for trial,” said Natalie. “Perhaps at the beginning of the pandemic there was a slowdown, but people are coming out of the pandemic and bellwether cases are being scheduled.”
