Natalie is a first-chair trial and appellate lawyer concentrating her practice in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Ranked by Chambers USA as a leading product liability litigator in New Jersey, she leads the defense of multinational clients in complex multi-district litigation, state court coordinated proceedings, and individual products liability actions. Clients trust her to handle their most important product liability matters from case inception through appeal, including developing defense and appellate strategy, case work-up, briefing and oral argument.
For nearly two decades, Natalie has also devoted a significant portion of her practice to appellate matters in state and federal courts, and has argued cases in the Appellate Division and Supreme Court of New Jersey, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to product liability, her appellate work spans a variety of practice areas, including employment, real estate, and constitutional law. Natalie advises her clients about the strongest appellate arguments, the at-times case-dispositive standards of review, and the written and unwritten appellate practices and procedures. Known for her strong writing skills and collaborative approach, clients often ask Natalie to work with trial counsel during the dispositive motion phase and at trial to preserve issues for appeal, and on the overall litigation strategy.
In addition to litigation, Natalie regularly counsels clients in various industries regarding product liability litigation avoidance, FDA and EPA regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. She also advises clients on product warnings, as well as product claims in marketing materials, regulatory submissions, recall communications, and other product-related materials. Her knowledge of the legal issues, and her ability to explain complicated litigation risks to non-lawyers, makes her a valuable addition to her clients’ cross-departmental teams.
Natalie has been elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, which is limited to one percent of lawyers in each state who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, leadership, and professional distinction. She is a past President of the New Jersey Defense Association, and is the immediate past New Jersey State Representative for the Defense Research Institute (DRI).
Outside of work, Natalie is an accomplished tennis player and an avid interior designer with a penchant for major home renovations.
