New Jersey Supreme Court grants McCarter’s motion for leave to appear as Amicus in Two TCCWNA Matters

The firm will appear as an amicus on behalf of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association in Wenger v. Bob’s Discount Furniture, LLC and Spade v. Select Comfort Corp. In the brief, authors David R. Kott and Edward J. Fanning, Jr. argue that cases involving the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (TCCWNA) should never be certified as class actions. David Kott will argue before the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
